Ask HN: Are there faster but 100% compatible Raspberry Pi alternatives?

I love my Raspberry Pi 4 with its brand OS and the Noobs multi-boot set-up (switching between the full desktop, LibreELEC and Lakka) but it feels painfully slow on many websites, namely YouTube. I'd like a faster CPU still running the exactly same OS (not just Debian or anything else). Is this possible? Are there any fully compatible alternatives?
