When I build something, I usually do a Show HN and sometimes get a lot of attention. Product Hunt is supposed to be similar, right? But when I post something over there, it seems to just go into a black hole and disappear. There is no "new posts" page or anything. How is anyone finding out about new posts on Product Hunt? How do posts over there get their first upvotes?
