I kept getting emails that somebody has contacted Coinbase support having account access issues. Obviously, it wasn't me, and my account is secure, so, somehow, they've tricked support to file their issue. Meanwhile, I keep getting text messages and calls from scammers pretending to be from Coinbase. Seems like there's a glitch in the support system allowing unauthenticated ticket creation. And obviously there's a PII leak if scammers know both my email address and phone number. Support is useless, they use some cheap headsets, and you can barely get what they are saying, and they've even hung up on me and didn't attempt to call back although their system says they will in case we got disconnected. The heavy Eastern European accent of the support lady didn't sound very reassuring.
