I am fed up with what the tech sector has become and, even though it's going to be hard, I am seriously considering transitioning to another sector altogether. I am in my early 40s and I have some savings. I would be really interested in the experience of people who have transitioned out of tech jobs (programming, management, whatever), what they have transitioned to, and how they've done it.
