Google search results on that topic suggest that wireless is the way to go, and HDMI is dead, despite the bandwidth of HDMI being around at least 5 times higher than the best wireless (~1gbps wireless vs. "standard" hdmi ~5gbps, with high-speed hdmi being around ~10gbps). I suppose the answer is a "no", but is there an authoritative source I (via google, bing and brave search) miss?
